A BRIDE-to-be ditched her fiancé on the airport — and fled along with his baggage and £5,000 money.

The seemingly loved-up couple, of their 40s, had bought engaged a day earlier — and advised check-in employees at Heathrow they had been flying to Rome to marry.
However when the person, mentioned to be British, left his fiancée minding their circumstances to go to the bathroom, she vanished and took every little thing along with her.

The distraught groom-to-be advised Terminal 5 employees she had swiped £5,000 he had given her for the marriage.

One onlooker mentioned: “He was in bits — completely inconsolable. Apparently, they’d solely met very lately and he’d fallen head-over-heels for her.

“He’d proposed a day earlier and she or he’d accepted.
“They’d deliberate to marry in Rome and had been about to fly there. Then she did a runner whereas he went to the john and vanished with all their belongings.
