Brooklinn Khoury is continuous to doc her journey following her lip reconstruction surgical procedure.
The professional skateboarder—who sustained critical accidents to her higher lip and nostril after being attacked by a pit bull in 2020—revealed that she’s nearing the top of her facial reconstruction journey, expressing her pleasure over getting her lip tattooed.
“Getting my lip tattooed can be one of many final steps,” she captioned her March 15 post. “It is positively going to take some getting use to, however I’m so excited for it.”

As Khoury previously noted, she underwent surgical procedure on Feb. 15 through which her surgeon “recreated the central columns, the lip and the cupids bow.” Over the previous few weeks, the 23-year-old has continued to doc her therapeutic following the process—which, in response to People, was her seventh reconstructive surgical procedure and what she hopes can be her final.
And in her newest submit, Khoury shared a clip of her attempting on completely different lipstick shades. “So now that I’ve a Cupid’s bow,” she mentioned within the video, “why would I not put lipstick on?”
