There was a slew of tributes to the good Tina Turner in the previous few days, however one that basically landed was from the person who wrote the tune that put the legend entrance and middle for the world to see.

John Fogerty, the frontman for Creedence Clearwater Revival who penned and sang “Proud Mary” — an enormous hit for the group in 1969 and a 12 months later a monster hit for Tina — paid homage to her at a live performance in Manchester, England … and the viewers went loopy.

Fogerty and his son, who’s on tour with him, sang “Proud Mary” to a packed venue.
As , the Creedence model was highly effective and regular, whereas Tina’s model was gripping and wild. It is considered one of her greatest hits and standard knowledge is that it is the greatest performative tune in Tina’s monumental string of iconic hits.

It is fairly wonderful … when Tina was in her 50s, the backup singers/dancers 3 many years youthful generally had bother maintaining along with her! She was unbelievable.

Tina died Wednesday at her dwelling in Switzerland at age 83.
