Within the class motion lawsuit, Frankel argues that her “status and model” is being “broken and tarnished” by the unauthorized advertising and marketing. She mentioned her calls for to TikTok to take away such adverts have been ignored by the social media platform.

Per the swimsuit, “In a single occasion when Ms. Frankel posted a video warning customers of the unauthorized and unlawful use of her persona to promote counterfeit items—with the intent to tell customers of the deception—TikTok, satirically, eliminated Ms. Frankel’s content material as ‘abusive.’”
