Twitter Accuses Elon Musk of "Mischief" After Request to Stop Trial

Twitter might not have their day in courtroom.

Elon Musk determined to go ahead with the $44 billion deal to buy Twitter, on the grounds that the trial between him and the social media firm is adjourned, per a letter despatched to Twitter by Musk’s legal professionals obtained by E! Information on Oct. 4.

Musk then filed a movement to remain the trial and take away it from the courtroom’s calendar, arguing that his plan to proceed with the deal now makes the trial “moot,” per courtroom paperwork obtained by E! Information on Oct. 6.

The Tesla CEO has “agreed” to carry out the obligations that have been part of the deal, and he’s prepared to shut the transaction, which is prone to happen on or round Oct. 28.

“But, Twitter won’t take sure for a solution,” the courtroom paperwork learn. “Astonishingly, they’ve insisted on continuing with this litigation, recklessly placing the deal in danger and playing with their stockholders’ pursuits.”
